Tell us… what is the best thing about working for FileWave?

Throughout my professional journey, I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge from this organization and its remarkable team. Tell us… about a significant challenge you faced and how you tackled it.

I’ve always believed that challenges are integral to a fulfilling life. Without hurdles to overcome, life would lack the thrill of achievement. During the peak of the COVID pandemic, around early 2022, I encountered substantial obstacles. Battling the virus not only delayed important matters but also tested my resilience. In the face of adversity, I kept the mantra “Never, ever give up.” Even on the second day of my COVID-19 journey, I engaged in online meetings, webinars, and demos. Surprisingly, staying occupied accelerated my recovery.

Tell us… about a triumphant team experience.

The unwavering support of Tim, the Vice President of Sales at FileWave for the APAC and EMEA regions, played a pivotal role in successfully executing our plan. Our team passionately reaches out to potential partners and distributors during the onboarding phase, reaping positive outcomes from our innovative approaches. Our victory is a collective effort, with each team member contributing indispensably. We’re steadfast in our mission to bring FileWave Anywhere to every corner of the world.

Tell us… a bit about your life beyond work. Who is Seelan off the clock?

Adventure courses through my veins, and my love for animals is undeniable. Whenever I’m feeling low or drained, immersing myself in the outdoors with my faithful companion Lucy is my go-to remedy. Being an adventure enthusiast, the tranquility of nature rejuvenates my spirit without fail. This experience continuously refreshes me, fueling my pursuits with renewed zeal. My passion for diving is another facet of my life; I’m currently an open-water diver, with plans to venture into advanced and rescue diving. Next year’s goal? Conquering China’s treacherous Mount Huashan, one of the world’s most challenging trails. Rest assured; Lucy won’t be my companion on this daring journey. YOLO.

5. Tell us… if you have any advice or something to share with other professionals in this field. What would you tell them?

Ohhh, I don’t really have any smart advice (laugh). Just be yourself and don’t be afraid to chase your dreams, no matter scary they might look to you at the moment.
