New Features FileWave Version 5.5 (and later)

Self Service Kiosk
FileWave 5.5 (and later) now includes a "Self Service / Kiosk" component.  Associations between a fileset and a client or group can be marked with the "Kiosk" flag - making the fileset appear within the end-users Self Service application.

iOS v5.0 MDM Management
FileWave v5.5 (and later) now supports iOS v5, the major feature of which is to be able to directly install/remove iTunes Paid Apps without requiring redirection to iTunes for installation. The VPP code management has been significantly improved so that a single set of VPP codes can be assigned across multiple filesets for the same iTunes app.

Software Update
The FileWave Administrator can now control Software Update for both Mac and Windows machines from within the FileWave Admin UI.  The FileWave Administrator can choose updates to import (as filesets), test them and deploy them in a well controlled manner - either to a single group, many groups or even just one machine.  Software Update includes features applicable for tightly controlled environments, as well as "fire and forget" options for smaller organizations.
