With the release of FileWave 12, all FileWave customers and evaluation accounts have 5,000 free temporary Chrome OS licenses for testing purposes. These evaluation licenses are already available in your FileWave Admin console and will expire on May 3, 2017, so be sure to start testing your Chromebook devices right away!

Who’s eligible for the 5,000 free temporary licenses?

Anyone with FileWave 12 installed is eligible. This includes all current and evaluation customers.

 

Can I get more than 5,000 free temporary licenses?

Yes, absolutely! If you need more than 5,000 free temporary licenses, just contact us and we’ll gladly give you as many Chrome OS licenses as needed. Just remember, all free temporary testing licenses expire on May 3, 2017.

What happens after the free evaluation period?

On May 3, 2017, all free temporary licenses will expire and you must choose one of the three options below. Please note, if you choose Option 1 or Option 2, all Chrome OS devices enrolled during the testing period will remain active, ensuring you do not have to complete the setup twice.

 

OPTION 1 - I love it! I want to purchase Chrome OS licenses.

OPTION 2 - I want to extend my Chrome OS evaluation period.

OPTION 3 - I’m not ready just yet, I would like to disable the Chrome OS features.
