FileWave Training Opportunity (March 24th & 25th)
This year the FileWave conference will offer two full days of training. These days will be jam packed with sessions for both just getting started and advanced users alike. Our new FileWave-101 track will be for Admins just getting started with FileWave, while our FileWave Advanced track will help grow seasoned FileWave Admins' skills to the next level. Take a look at our proposed outline below:
Let's talk about backups and upgrades! This session will focus on prepping your existing infrastructure for upgrades to version 11.
Get an in-depth look at the new features of FileWave 11. Our Engineers will talk about getting the most out of FileWave 11's new integrations and Fileset types. Got Questions? Sure you do…we've got the answers.
Get ready to get ready for FileWave. Let's talk about network configurations, server configurations, virtualization, firewall ports, certificates and more! This session is designed to help you maximize the efficiency of your FileWave setup.
This lab will walk you through some example automations using the FileWave Admin Command Line Interface. Setup scripts for automating simple tasks, importing data, or even using 3rd party tools like AutoPKG to build Filesets.
Get a handle on your FileWave environment. This session will cover best practices for testing, deployment and organization of both your Filesets and clients.
Advanced inventory queries using grouping and logic. Get an in-depth understanding of how powerful the query builder in FileWave really can be! Leverage your new found skills to create genius-level smart groups and automate your inventory reporting to make your supervisors happy.
(FW-101) Imaging Basics
(FW-ADV) Server Migration Lab
Has your FileWave server outgrown your current setup? Ready to move from one supported OS to another? From planning and preparation to execution, this session will cover everything needed to perform a successful migration from start to finish.
