Hi,
Sorry if this question has been discussed.
Coming from Apple Profile Manager, i'm looking if i can assign profiles and filesets rather to users (ldap) than to the devices ?
I have the impression that FileWave only allow device based MDM management or am i wrong ?

cheers
Caly

No, you're right as far as I can tell. Associations are based on devices rather than users. FileWave does a lot of things well but assigning deployment items to users is not one of those.

Your posting is under the Mobile Devices subforum so I'm wondering how that would work. iPads/iPhones don't really have a login user, unless you're using ASM. Or were you thinking about MacBooks as mobile devices?

Using AD you can associate fillesets to Security Groups. Is that granular enough?
Are you managing iOS or Mac OS?
