I am wanting to check installed apps on iOS devices to see when the last time the app was used. The following is how I have it set up:
VPP Asset/Bundle Identifier contains com.gingerlabs.Notability
VPP License/Last date used after 8/1/15
iOS Device/device name contains BIS

Device name Serial number Last date used

I don't think the last date used is correct. Would this be the last date that app was used? The reason I am questioning this is that they all came back with the same date. I don't believe everyone in both of our buildings would have used the app on the same day.

Actually the name of the field is a bit confusing - it's not the last time the app has been used, but the last time the license itself has been used (read: "associated"). It will likely be a few minutes after you ran model update, for all licenses that had to be consumed after model update.

For now we unfortunately don't report application usage report on iOS - last time we looked at it, it wasn't possible without Jailbreaking the device, which we obviously won't support. I'm not sure it's now possible (I had an app that could report running processes, but since iOS 9 it's not reporting anything useful).
