STEPS TO REPRODUCE


1. Open FileWave Admin 4.1


2. Select the Clients view, type a computer name in the search field, press Enter


3. Right click the client found, select "Comment"




EXPECTED RESULTS


I should be able to change the comment of this computer (in my case, the name of this computer's new main user)




ACTUAL RESULTS


The comment field goes into edit, then a pop-up window containing a progress bar (blue-white striped) which loses the focus on the comment field and makes it impossible to change.




NOTES


This does not happen when all search filters are cleared : I can modify comment if I take the time to browse my groups hierarchy to look for my computer record.

Nice bug. Wonder what the progress bar is showing :-)


You can actually edit the comment in search results by clicking on the clients Comment column and then press the enter/return key. That's usually faster than using the context menu as well ;-)
