I have some questions about the Audit History:

How far back does the Audit History get saved?
Does Filewave do an automatic purge at some point?
Can fileset name be included in create new and delete association events?

Thanks,

Johnny

I'll double check (sorry, the feature has been introduced in FileWave way before I joined the team :) ), but I don't think there is a limit, neither an automatic purge.

On OS X, /var/log/FWAdmin Audit contains all files (one per day).

We've already in our ticketing system a feature request for better entries in audit log - I added your comments there as well.
Anything else you would like to see in the audit log ?

Having entries in the Audit log for any global changes would be nice as well. Changes in Admin preferences such as LDAP settings.

Thanks,

Johnny

There's so much nice stuff you can add to the Audit :P

Here's a few:
  • Filtering (adding, deleting, associations, filesets, etc)
  • Summarise changes since last model update
  • Parsing of the log text, making it (more) readable
