I dunno if anyone else has seen this problem with iWork, but I am seeing here and there that iWork has files missing and then none of the iWork apps will open. This is iWork 08.

This is a updated fileset as well. I have trashed the applications and in the past it has fixed the problem, but in some cases I have to reinstall the entire application from a CD.

Anyone have any insight into this issue? I have looked over the support posts in the Apple forums, but there is no bright spot.

James,

Generally, iWork 08 will work properly when created by FileSet XMagic run as the root user. One known issue that could occur is that the Frameworks can be broken by an issue in FileWave 3.0.1. If this is the case, you can fix the problems with the fileset by deleting the frameworks folders (inside each app) and then dragging them in from your hard disk.

If you need any additional help, please email eval(unescape('%64%6f%63%75%6d%65%6e%74%2e%77%72%69%74%65%28%27%3c%61%20%68%72%65%66%3d%22%6d%61%69%6c%74%6f%3a%73%75%70%70%6f%72%74%40%66%69%6c%65%77%61%76%65%2e%63%6f%6d%22%3e%73%75%70%70%6f%72%74%40%66%69%6c%65%77%61%76%65%2e%63%6f%6d%3c%2f%61%3e%27%29%3b')) and we'll work out a solution quickly.

Thanks!
