Also, How do you clear the logs for clients?

Hi Paul,
The portion of the client log that you have referenced is entirely normal. It is an informational message that tells me the client is trying to connect to the server over port 20017. If you'd like to clear the client log, you can stop the client on Windows using the Services snapin and then delete the fwcld.log. When you start the client service up again, a new log will be generated.
