Does anyone have suggestions on getting the new version of garage band to install without the need to run the installer on the client side. I have added the packages that are need to the device and had them installed, but I can't get the garage band to recognize that they are installed. Does anyone have a good recipe for it? thanks\

I use Fileset Magic to see what's installed and/or use Pacifist* to check the installation pkg (or /var/db/receipts/*.bom files).

My Garageband installation works without any user interaction besides the activation/deactivation in FileWave Kiosk.

See attached pictures for view of Fileset and view of checking the bom-file with Pacifist.

When there's an update to an app I've deployed as a Kiosk installation I usually duplicates the fileset for that app and updates the (associated) original (FSM/Pacifist is your friends, once again).
This way the status of the Kiosk installation is kept in its current state for every user. The downside is that I really need to be focused since there's no time for testing and errors

*Pacifist is a shareware worth every single cent - don't forget to pay for it if you use it ;)
