as far as i know, i-movie is only a app. Create a fileset of the app located in applications and deploy it to your macs. Keep in mind that there is a relationship between the version of i-movie and the system version installed on the mac
If it's Apple's iMovie we're talking about here jadermann is perfectly right.
Bear in mind that all apps from the Apps store is signed with the Apple ID that installs the app.
For free apps, the app is only generally signed and can be deployed using an ordinary Fileset, but if you want to deploy a paid app from a 3rd party developer you really need VPP licenses (Apple paid apps aren't computer signed, but you still need to pay for them for every computer).
I follow the steps at the following site. Just change it to what ever app you want to download as a PKG. The only other step is to push our a new receipt file or the update will continue to show as an update in the App Store updates.
