Hello Filewave Support,
i've created a Adobe CreativeCloudPackager (CCP) as described by Adobe (LWS_PackagerDeployGuide_rev3_Final.pdf).

Adobe CreativeCloudPackager (CCP):
The Installation and DEinstallation packages produced by Adobe CCP are working fine, but the Serial-Number has to be implemented in
CPP to proceed packaging…

…It seems not to be possible to create a AdobeApplicationManager (AAMEE) installation package of CreativeCloud products…

…by using the Filewave Receipe (URL below)
www.filewave.com/index.php/support/manua...obe-creative-suite-6

…the Serial-Number implemented in the Adobe CreativeCloudPackager (CCP) Workflow gets damaged and isn't working as Filewave-Installation (FileSet-Magic).
…i've generated a CS6-Serialization-File as described in the "Filewave Receipe" (with AAMEE)
…but the REserialization isn't working as well…

…did i missed any relevant information regarding CCP packaging?

Thanks
Niclas
PS:
in the moment my account is blocked CloudFlare Ray ID for summiting this as a Ticket to Filewave.
…but i think its interesting for Forum as well ;)

When I created my package of CCP, I choose the Create Package, just like below:

Then point it to where you want to store it and make sure you choose in the License type you choose: Serial Number License.

inject the serial number on the package, and build the package:

When the package is built, drag the .PKG installation file to FileWave Admin (FileSet) and let Filewave build the package. FileWave will deploy it to the systems you point it to, just like any other pkg. Even if you deployed this manually, the installer won't request you any input of a serial key.

Hope this helps!

is'nt possible…
Thanks

I guess you re going to have to script the deployments so that the keys are injected afterwards. We used to do that a long time ago, but since CCP we just inject the keys. Regardless FileWave self heals the content or not.

If you create a new deployment with the keys injected doesn't filewave updates the installed base to the new components?

hi and thanks for the great help,
figured out that the serial injection / activation scripts only work well when executed / located in different folders (e.g. CC-2014activation, and CC-2017activation) otherwise it isn't possible to simply Upgrade to newer CreativeCloud version -after all i got smarter ;)
-THIS SEEMS NOT TO WORK WITH OLDER e.g CS6, CS4 and older Versions installed on Client -in this CASE my solution was to delete every Adobe-Folder (especially the Serialization Database) of existing Adobe Installation before CC / Serialinjection.
Seems that older Adobe Installations work without Serialinjections -but therefore not with CreativeCloud Filesets ;)
THANKS AGAIN FOR THE GREAT SUPPORT
Niclas

i fixed a similar problem by building a new license package with creative cloud packager.

new license package
name it for example myCS6serial
type in the license (serial number) for your product
create package
the folder (myCS6serial) contains 4 files (in my case)
AdobeSerialization
helper.bin
prov.xml
RemoveVolumeSerial

i depoyed the folder to /usr/local/etc/scripts/myCS6serial

i executed the two scripts (RemoveVolumeSerial and AdobeSerialization) with a include script that is executed at activation

#!/bin/bash
#removing old Volume Serial
/usr/local/etc/scripts/myCS6serial/RemoveVolumeSerial
sleep 5
#writing new Volume Serieal
/usr/local/etc/scripts/myCS6serial/AdobeSerialization
hope it works for your problem
Joachim
