Every time I have to create a new group structure, I always have to do the same steps. First I create the groups, then the associations. Isn´t it possible to program a function to copy a tree of groups, including the associations? Functionally similar to the "Duplicate Client".

Thank you!

Jasper,

You can create a clone of a group!

Are you looking for a "duplicate group" and a "duplicate group and sub-groups" option?

Ben,

A Clone would not do what I need.

A "duplicate group and sub-groups" (but without the clients inside!) including the associations would be great.

Hi Ben!

Norbert is right.

Example:

Grp1

  • Grp1.1 - 10 Associations
    • Grp1.1.1 - 5 Associations

    • Grp1.2 - 6 Associations
      • Grp1.2.1 - 3 Associations
      • Grp1.2.2 - 5 Associations
      • Grp1.2.3 - 4 Associations

        Grp1.3[/i] - 18 Associations[/i]

        Grp1.3.1[/i] - 10 Associations[/i]

        Grp1.3.1.1[/i] - 2 Associations[/i]

      Grp1.3.2[/i] - 5 Associations[/i]
      Grp1.3.3[/i] - 2 Associations[/i]

Sometimes I have to create a Second Group Structure (Grp2) with nearly the same Subgroups and Associations...

Thank you Norbert und Gruss nach Berlin!

I see that make a lot more sense.

Wonderful suggestions. I'll see what I can do to get this onto the roadmap for future versions of FileWave Admin.

Thanks you two!
