FileWave Kiosk provides you a method to give your users easy access to the applications, documents, and other resources, at the moment they need it.
In most organizations there are a number of applications and resources that are mandatory for all users. Much of the other content, applications, and documents that are available remain as optional installs. This optional material may be stored in a number of places. Applications, software patches and other IT related items are usually put in one location, marketing content in another, HR materials in still another, and the list continues for all of the other resources you provide. Having the relevant material available for your users to quickly and easily access is challenging in any organisation. FileWave Kiosk allows you to provide a self-service application for your end users, which gives access to all this material from a single interface. The Kiosk may be customized by user, so individuals only see the applications, documents, and other content that is applicable to their role within the organization.
Document management is easy with FileWave Kiosk. Using the native admin interface, you can quickly drag and drop a document, spreadsheet, presentation, or other material to users or clients, select the kiosk flag and it will be made available and kept constantly updated to the very latest version forever. While other self-service solutions rely on application installers, which need to restart if a disruption occurs, FileWave’s unique file level deployment and management allows for interruptions to both network connectivity and power. If the deployment of an application or any other content is disrupted, FileWave will simply resume where it left off when the client becomes available again.
