The FileWave Company, founded in 1999, develops, sells, integrates and supports the products of FileWave and FileWave Inventory throughout the world from its locations in Europe and the USA. These products focus on the distribution, collection and management of information within a corporate network environment.
FileWave (Europe) GmbH of Wil, Switzerland and FileWave (USA) Inc. of San Francisco, USA, are wholly owned subsidiaries of the holding company FileWave International Holding AG of Wil, Switzerland.
The company is privately owned and finances its own growth both in respect of design, development and its international activities. Its resources are fully commensurate with its strategic business plans and forecasts. Sole rights to the FileWave Solutions products were purchased outright at company formation time from the original developer, the Wave Research Corporation of Belgium.
The FileWave products, first marketed in 1993, are installed on more than 700,000 computer systems worldwide. Development work is carried out by teams in both Switzerland and the USA, with training and consulting centers in both of these countries.
